Essential Functions:

QUICK LUBE TECHNICIAN

The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance services such as oil and filter services, fluids checks, tire pressure checks, and visual inspections. This position is also responsible for making sure the vehicles are put through detail/washes.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Greet Customers.   
  • Inspect air filter and PCV valve.   
  • Check air pressure in tires and inspect for wear.   
  • Inject chassis grease into accessible fittings.   
  • Perform car wash and vacuum interior.   
  • Help keep service cars cleared of service drive.   
  • Reset oil indicator lamps when applicable.   
  • Place oil reminder decal in windshield.   
  • Keep lube rack area and car wash area clean.

Qualifications:

 

  • Good general mechanical aptitude.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  More Information: 

  This is a physically demanding position. Quick Lube Technicians must be able to withstand long hours of lifting, reaching, bending, etc... Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Quick Lube Technicians must be available to work weekends if necessary. They will also be working in a service lane that is open to the outside and may be susceptible to temperatures comparable to outside conditions.

Follow-up on all Prospects:

Sales Consultants:

  • Make sure they satisfy their daily responsibilities including training, product knowledge, and follow-up prospecting. 

New Car Inventory:

  • Orders/acquires new and used vehicle inventory.   
  • Displays, merchandises, and promotes new and used vehicles.   
  • Keep all parking spaces in front available for customers.   
  • Keep new car inventory organized and straight.   
  • Manage the disposal of old units (including Demo's).   
  • Keeping demo's organized.   
  • Dealer Trades - Check with President/GM prior to giving up any vehicles. 

CSI - New CarScore should be 98% Minimum:

  • Informing each customer of importance of surveys.   
  • Handling customer complaints regarding new cars. 

Showroom & Sales Desk Condition:

  • Cleanliness of all stations.   
  • Make sure Evidence Manuals are available, updated and USED routinely.   
  • Cleanliness of all S.C.'s desks.   
  • Showroom tone and professionalism. 

Assisting President in the further development and growth in all areas of the front end:

  • Advice on pre-owned department.   
  • Advice on sales strategies.   
  • Advice on internal procedures. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Management, Business Administration, or another 4 year degree preferred.   
  • 3+ years' experience in the Automotive Industry.   
  • 2+ years' experience in sales.   
  • Able to meet competing deadlines and quotas.   
  • Able to motivate and manage sales team.   
  • Should be qualified to perform all tasks stated in the job description.
